"Extra 4612 West "- (10" x 17" approximate image size) - 2006

It's late Fall in 1956 and Pennsylvania Railroad I-1s No. 4612 leads a westbound coal train through Up-State New York Town of Horseheads on it's journey to the dock at Sodus Point on Lake Ontario.  In less than a year, all steam power will disappear from the Pennsylvania Railroad but in 1956 steam still reigned on Pennsy's Elmira Branch.  In this scene, No. 4612 is slowing for a stop as it nears the end of double track where it will wait for an eastbound train. The artist has faithfully captured the essence of the Elmira Branch in the final years of steam in this colorful rendering of a time long gone.

NOW AVAILABLE - a limited number of  12" x 18" Giclée prints signed and numbered by the artist (limited to 250 copies). The prints are reproduced on 51-lb. heavy weight, Epson paper and printed with archival inks.  Price........$42.00 plus $5.00 Shipping & Handling (US only contact us for S&H cost to locations outside of the United States)

"Two at Utley"- (8.5" x 12.5" image size) -2007

A pair of Pennsylvania Railroad H-10s 2-8-0 locomotives power an eastbound train on the Western Allegheny Railroad during the early 1950's.  The train is returning from Queen Junction with empties headed back to the mines in this snowy scene as it approaches a grade crossing at a location known as Utley.  The PRR operated the Western Allegheny from 1926 until 1967 when the railroad was sold to the Bessemer and lake Erie Railroad.  This is my second Western Allegheny Railroad painting and truly a fine representation of this classic shortline railroad in a spectacular rural setting.

NOW AVAILABLE - a limited number of Giclée prints signed and numbered by the artist (limited to 50 copies).  The prints are reproduced on 12"x 15", 51-lb. heavy weight, smooth paper and printed with archival inks.  Price........$29.00 plus $5.00 Shipping & Handling (US only contact us for S&H cost to locations outside of the United States)
