"Butler Bound"- (11.5" x 15" image size) -2008

Three Bessemer and Lake Erie Railroad SD 38AC locomotives lead a long string of hopper cars across the B&LE's famous bridge over the Alleghany River in the late 1980's and northbound toward Butler, PA .  Today the B&LE is now a part of the Canadian National System and the orange "pumpkin-colored" locomotives are almost a memory.  In this scene the former Rock Island blue hopper cars can be seen in No. 869's consist and on the far side of the river a trio of Conrail GP 40's lead a westbound coal train.

"Final Run" (15" x 13 image size") - 2005

This painting depicts final run of the Bessemer and Lake Erie Railroad's famous F-type locomotives on the former Western Alleghany Railroad in 1992.  Within a few short years this branch line would be all but a memory, but in this scene the operation looks quite healthy as a loaded coal train traverses the 'S' curve at Liggett Siding.

NOW AVAILABLE - a limited number of Giclée prints signed and numbered by the artist (limited to 50 copies).  The prints are reproduced on 140-lb. heavy weight, textured paper and printed with archival inks.  Price........$45.00 plus $5.00 Shipping & Handling (US only contact us for S&H cost to locations outside of the United States)
